PermaFloor offers a wide range of urethane concrete flooring systems for heavy-duty, abusive environments. Our systems are designed to withstand thermal shock and thermal cycling conditions, harsh impacts, heavy traffic, chemical attack and moisture vapor emissions. Resistance to cooking acids, alkalies, oils, fats and harsh cleaning techniques make these systems a good choice for food and beverage processing facilities. Results are long-lasting and require little maintenance.
Urethane cement provides a seamless alternative to acid brick and quarry tile which tend to crack at the mortar joints when subject to thermal cycling. These cracks collect dirt, water and microorganisms creating health risks and exposing the substrate to further deterioration.
Self-leveling, 100% solids formulations can be used to retrofit and repair damaged floors or re-pitch floors for slope to drain. High tolerance for moisture allows urethane mortar application over green concrete.
Resistant to arduous cleaning techniques such as steam, hot water and aggressive detergents commonly used in food and beverage processing facilities.
Typical Thickness: 1/4 to 3/8-inch.
Drytime: Variable, but typically ranges from 12 to 24 hours for full service.

Considerations: Our Vinyl Chip Polyurethane Floors offer you a more decorative alternative for light to moderate applications. Epoxy Mortar and Decorative Epoxy Broadcast systems are economical alternatives to consider, however they do not hold up as well to the thermal shock, temperature change and steam cleaning abuse typically encountered in heavy-duty food processing applications.
